The Advantages and Disadvantages of Immigration

Immigration are increasing in many countries, wethear to developed or developing country. There are many advantages and disadvantages of this view.

firstly, imigrants to a developed country may work for less money than citizen, and this is an advantage point of view. Rather than paying for citizen more money and taking less taxes, imigrants will provides the government positive service. Other point of view (disadvantages) confirms that imigration to a developed country might affects on citizen with a negative impact. This due to an increasing in unemployment.

Secondly, imigrants to a developing country could build the country in neatlly and well-arranged way with less money. In the other side, many imigrants would cause traffic and air polution. This is because of using much machines tools for building.

consequently, short term immigration suited a developed country, because developed country is not in need with immigrants as much as a developing country. Long term immigratrion will fitt a developing counrty and thats to developed the country more and more.

Finally,  regarding to refugees, these people are in need with our help. some refugees young children are looking after their young brothers and sisters. So, next country must stands and help refugees , because they have no place to go and live in. Either Short or long term immigration.

Elderly People

1) Who looks after Elderly people in your culture ?

Most of elderly people are taking care of by their sons .
Either the sons or daughtera take care of them in their own home , or they both go to their parents home

2) Who pays for care for the Elderly in your culture ?

The government pays monthly salary for the Elderly people and the sons and daughters pays too. Any medical equipments are for free. The nursing home is for free if the elderly people does not have family.

3) Who should pay for care for the elderly ?

In my opinion , both the government and the family should pay. This is because of some equipments are very expensive for the family to pay for.

4) What are the differences between who cares for the elderly / who pays for care for the elderly between the U.K and your country ?

There are differences in traditions between my country and the U.K.
In the U.K , the elderly people should pay for them self for the nursing home , While my country the government pays for them.
My government they cares a lot of the elderly people , this due to they were honest in working for their country when they were young.

Legislate to Protect Children

Is the U.K government correct to legislate against beating of children by parents ?

In some times yes , this is due to children may got shocked for the rest of their life. This make children act less-behaved , careless and fearless from every body.

Should the Welsh Assembly legislate against smaking ?

There is difference between smacking and beating. Beating is by the fest , and it is a hard punch . It could be in the face . While smacking is by the palm , soft punch and it is not in the face .It may be in the legs or hands or the bottom. So , legislation is not recommended

Which parts of the UK laws regarding physical punishment of children by parents do you agree with ? why ?

I agree in sometimes. This because physical punishment depends on the age of the child and the thing that the child did it wrong.

Role of the Assembly and how it works

1. What does the Welsh Assembly goverment do ?

The Assembly has three key roles:

1- Representing Wales and its people.
2- Making laws for Wales.
3- Holding the Welsh Goverment to account.

2. Do you think it is a good idea for Wales to have its own ( lower level ) goverment ?

Yes it is a good idea , this is because the main purposes of the local goverment byelaws ( Wales ) bill is to give welsh assembly more power , and making law , simpler and quicker. Welsh assembly aims to save more money and more time effort. It will improve life in Wales for welsh people.

3. Would this system be successful in gulf states ? central America ?

No it would not , this due to the small number of goverments for each country . Especially Qatar , it is small country and all of the citizin are agreed with the country rule and law.

Being In The European Union

The European Union was first formed in 1957 by 6 countries ( West Germany , France , belgium , the Netherlands , Luxembourg and Italy ). In 1973 , Britain , Denmark and the Republic of ireland joined. After few years , many countries started to join the E.U and there now 25 member states. There are many adavntages and disadvantages of being in the E.U.
fristly , the advantages , having the euro as a common currency for a large part of Europe , is much easier of Euro people to spend them in any other Euro country. Secondly , European citizens have the freedom to live, work, study, and travel in any other EU country. The disadvantages is that Britain would become gain a sovereign nation with more power over its domestic affairs. EFTA would also allow the UK to negotiate free trade agreements with countries outside of the EU.
